Pregnancy

32 Weeks Pregnant

You’ve been pregnant for around 8 months now, and your body has undergone many changes since you first found out about your baby. The day that your baby will come to greet you in the outside world is just around the corner and their body is preparing for it in many ways.

33 Weeks Pregnant

At 33 weeks pregnant, you are well in to your third trimester, and pregnancy symptoms are likely taking their toll on your body. Yet, if your pregnancy lasts for the average 40-week gestation period, there are only 7 weeks left, and this can serve as motivation for the final push.

34 Weeks Pregnant

With less than 2 months to go, things really start to pick up pace at 34 weeks pregnant. Your baby has developed fully functioning limbs, which will continue to strengthen and grow from now until the day of birth. They can also hear voices and will be able to recognise yours when you speak.

35 Weeks Pregnant

The final day of pregnancy is fast approaching and your body may be experiencing some of the harsh signs of pregnancy that are symptomatic of the third trimester. You’re probably aching all over and suffering from exhaustion thanks to some sleepless nights, but there is a comfort in the knowledge that you are just over one month away from the arrival of your baby.

36 Weeks Pregnant

Being 36 weeks pregnant is a huge milestone in the gestation cycle. You now only have one month left until you can meet your baby in the outside world and your life will be changed forever.

37 Weeks Pregnant

At 37 weeks pregnant, your baby is now considered full term. So, if you were to have your baby this week, it would be considered a full-term pregnancy.

38 Weeks Pregnant

You’ve reached the thirty-eighth week of pregnancy and are within the touching distance of the day you finally meet your baby.

39 Weeks Pregnant

At 39 weeks pregnant, you’ve pretty much made it. Your baby is fully developed now and will weigh around 7 pounds. Babies born at 39 weeks are indistinguishable from those born in week 40, in terms of complications that may arise.

40 Weeks Pregnant

If you’re 40 weeks pregnant, you may have already passed your due date and your baby could be arriving any moment now.
